DOMAINE DE SULAUZE
Côteaux d’Aix en Provence, France
The domaine is runned by Karina and Guillaume Lefèvre, who met while hiking across the island of Corsica, a true love at first sight!
In 2004, they took over a vineyard in the small village of Miramas and, driven by their passion for sustainable agriculture, they initially converted the vineyards to organic farming and later embraced biodynamic practices. Their vision transformed Domaine de Sulauze into a multifaceted operation, encompassing not just a winery, but also a brewery and polycultural farm.
Surrounded by the stunning Alpilles mountains, the estate produces fresh, expressive wines from a variety of local grapes. The Lefèvres revitalised the vineyard using massale selection. This approach has led to the production of exceptional single-parcel bottlings, including a Sciacarello, sourced from the renowned Antoine Abatucci’s vines.
With a focus on preserving the purity of the terroir, Domaine de Sulauze makes unique, eco-conscious wines with a focus on producing wines that are a pure expression of the terroir.
